Twin Flames are set to tour Manitoba and serve as mentors to aspiring Indigenous artists later this month. The tour will begin with their inaugural performance at Festival du Voyageur and will be followed by a trip to Elkhorn Resort to serve as mentors for the Indigenous Music Residency Program. They will share how they manage family dynamics alongside their music career and will also be talking about mental health and overall well-being in the music industry.  After the Indigenous Music Residency Program, the duo will head to eastern Manitoba to perform in Pinawa. The tour also includes stops in Portage la Prairie, Neepawa and Minnedosa.

Twin Flames is the union of Chelsey June (Metis) from Ottawa and Jaaji (Inuk Mohawk) from Nunavik, a beloved powerhouse couple well on their way to becoming a Canadian household name. With 25 Music award Nominations and over 1000 live shows in six short years, their musical adventure has taken them across the Arctic, Canada, US, Australia, France and Greenland. Pushing the boundaries of contemporary folk, their songs incorporate both western and traditional instruments. Each show is a true journey into their hearts and minds.

“Manitoba truly is Canada’s heartbeat, and we have always felt such a strong connection to the land and the people here. We are so excited to be back for this tour and to visit communities we have never been to before. Manitoba Music and Manitoba Arts Network have been a huge support to us. We are excited to deepen our connections with the people of Manitoba. Our goal is to bridge the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous audiences and make our show a place where everyone can feel welcome." - says Twin Flames
